Mission

Purposes and Responsibilities of the Union shall be:

(a) International promotion of biomaterials science and engineering.

(b) Selection of venues for World Biomaterials Congresses (as defined herein) ensuring scientific excellence.

(c) Monitoring of progress in organization of World Biomaterials Congresses ensuring scientific excellence.

(d) Designation of Fellows, Biomaterials Science and Engineering (as defined herein)
