To all branches, institutional members, council members, and individual members:
The Chinese Biomaterials Congress, as the most influential academic exchange platform in the field of biomaterials in China, has enjoyed growing conference scale and increasing academic influence over the years with the support and attention of broad scientific and technological communities. It has become an important vehicle for promoting interdisciplinary integration and advancing collaborative development among industry, academia, research, and healthcare. Facing a new era of biomaterials, the Congress will continue to pool wisdom and stimulate innovation, helping biomaterials move toward intelligence, smart manufacturing, and smart medicine.
The 2027 Chinese Biomaterials Congress and the Exhibition of New Technologies, New Products and New Instruments (CSBM2027), sponsored by the Chinese Society for Biomaterials and organized by Jinan University, will be held on October 9–12, 2027, at the Guangzhou Baiyun International Convention Center in Guangzhou. Led by academicians from China and abroad, the Congress will feature a series of academic programs focusing on frontier biomaterials research, key core technologies, translation and application of research outcomes, and regulatory science, systematically showcasing the latest research progress and industry developments in the field. Experts and scholars from universities, research institutes, medical institutions, medical device companies, and regulatory authorities, as well as clinicians, R&D personnel, and entrepreneurs from small enterprises, will gather in Guangzhou to join this grand event.
With the verdant Yunshan hills and the shimmering Pearl River, in the golden autumn season, let us meet in Guangzhou. With academia as the bridge and innovation as the sail, let us explore the frontiers together through the collision of ideas and embark on a new journey through cooperation and exchange. IV. Scientific Program
The scientific program of the 2027 Chinese Biomaterials Congress will consist of plenary lectures, thematic sessions, poster sessions, congress forums, and other activities. The Congress will select outstanding oral presentations by young scholars and outstanding posters to encourage young scholars to actively submit abstracts. In addition, the Congress will set up a dedicated exhibition area and sincerely invites relevant companies, publishers, research institutions, and others to participate as exhibitors.
(1) Plenary Lectures
Plenary lectures will be invited by the Congress Organizing Committee.
(2) Thematic Sessions
Thematic sessions will be convened and organized by 26 professional divisions, which will determine the thematic directions. In principle, apart from keynote lectures and invited lectures, other oral presentations will be selected from submitted oral presentation abstracts.
(3) Poster Sessions
To encourage participants to actively engage in poster exchanges, this Congress will set up poster display areas by theme and arrange dedicated exchange time.
