Prof. Xingdong Zhang, Honorary President of CSBM, Receives 2025 ESB International Award – First Chinese Scientist to Win This Honor!

On September 10, at the European Biomaterials Congress held in Turin, Italy, the European Society for Biomaterials (ESB) proudly presented the 2025 ESB International Award to Prof. Xingdong Zhang, Academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, Professor at Sichuan University, and Honorary President of the Chinese Society for Biomaterials (CSBM). Prof. Zhang is the first Chinese scientist to receive this award, and also the first recipient of Chinese origin in the more than 40 years since the award was established by the ESB.
