9th China-Europe Symposium on Biomaterials in Regenerative Medicine (CESB 2026)
Dear Members,
The 9th China-Europe Symposium on Biomaterials in Regenerative Medicine (CESB 2026), jointly organized by the Chinese Society for Biomaterials (CSBM) and the European Society for Biomaterials (ESB), will be held on May 10–13, 2026 in Beijing. The symposium is co-organized by the National Center for Nanoscience and Technology and Peking University.
Since its inaugural meeting in Suzhou in 2006, CESB has become one of the most influential and deeply collaborative international academic platforms in the field of biomaterials between China and Europe. At the 8th CESB held in Nuremberg, Germany (CESB 2024), we witnessed rich exchanges and intellectual collisions between Chinese and European scholars in areas such as tissue regeneration, nanomedicine, immune engineering, and advanced biomaterials.
CESB 2026 will feature plenary lectures, keynote sessions, oral presentations, poster displays, and a young scientist symposium, covering the entire chain from fundamental research to clinical translation. The symposium will bring together leading scholars, early‑career researchers, and industry experts from both China and Europe in biomaterials and regenerative medicine, fostering discussions on cutting‑edge scientific questions and promoting the translation of innovative achievements. We look forward to continuing this excellent tradition and further expanding the breadth and depth of cooperation in Beijing in 2026.
Please mark your calendars and plan to attend. Abstract submission will open on November 22.
